Greetings! My name is Tita Amelia. I am currently enrolled as a UI/UX Mastery Program student by Digital Talent Scholarship (a scholarship for young digital talents provided by Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of The Republic of Indonesia). Below is my team’s journey to redesign PasarPolis Employee Benefit Website.

Overview

PasarPolis is one of the online aggregator platforms which provides insurance services. Founded in 2015, PasarPolis has been thriving as the first and leading Insurtech in Indonesia focused on micro transactions. To simplify and fasten insurance processes, PasarPolis has initiated some breakthroughs like PasarPolis Mitra (for those who want to join as business partners) and PasarPolis Employee Benefit (a group insurance product for employees).

This project focuses only on PasarPolis Employee Benefit website which aim to provide group health insurance products for employees in Indonesia. PasarPolis Employee Benefit is now available in 3 (three) packages:

• PasarPolis Light (economic insurance package)
• PasarPolis Super (competitive insurance package), and
• PasarPolis Ultra (premium insurance package)

The three packages are provided by PT Asuransi MAG (an official insurance provider for PasarPolis Employee Benefit). PasarPolis Employee Benefit also has an EB Mobile Apps for registered employees to check on the updated insurance information, their current claim processes, nearby registered hospitals/clinics, and also a daily steps tracker. For HR staffs, PasarPolis provides an HR Portal to manage the number of registered employees covered by the insurance.

Role and Job description

My team is consisted of Kak Ilham Efendi, Kak Muhammad Faisal Hasbullah, and me. We are all acted as UI/UX Designer. My roles in the team was:

1. Conducted secondary research with other team members to find out the problems
2. Collaborated and discussed the problems found with other team members until they were listed well in the Pain Points.
3. Contributed in Solution Idea generation
